Video Projection Mapped Lounge Space
The SpaceCat Lounge was a 15 foot dome shaped futuristic chill space. I made the dome, designed and manufactured the booth style seating and the projection towers. The dome was covered in white covering and featured projection mapped animations and space footage. You could sit back and watch the earth go by with live streamed video from the International Space Station or see a blood eclipse juxtaposed with hundreds of jellyfish. Behind the dome, two pyramid shaped towers held the projectors that faced the outside of the white covering, rear projecting onto it. The two projectors were then controlled by a computer hidden behind the triangular shaped door in the main seat.
